F1 & Jurassic World: Rebirth

F1 is the latest film from Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick). Racing legend Sonny Hayes is coaxed out of retirement to lead a struggling Formula 1 team—and mentor a young hotshot driver—while chasing one more chance at glory. F1 stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, and Kerry Condon.
 
Jurassic World: Rebirth is the seventh entry in the Jurassic Park franchise. Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, covert operations expert Zora Bennett is contracted to lead a skilled team on a top-secret mission to secure genetic material from the world’s three most massive dinosaurs. When Zora’s operation intersects with a civilian family whose boating expedition was capsized, they all find themselves stranded on an island where they come face-to-face with a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades. Jurassic World: Rebirth stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, and Rupert Friend.

Bring Her Back

Eric reviews Bring Her Back, and the guys catch up on Andor Season 2, as well as Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.
 
Bring Her Back is the latest horror thrill-ride from director duos Michael and Danny Philippou. Following the death of their father, a brother and sister are introduced to their new sibling by their foster mother, only to learn that she has a terrifying secret. Bring Her Back stars Sally Hawkins, Sora Wong, and Billy Barratt, and is currently in theaters.

Until Dawn and The Accountant 2

Buckle up, we watched two movies again!
 
Eric watched Until Dawn, a new horror release based on the video game franchise of the same name. One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Until Dawn stars Ella Rubin (Anora) and Peter Stormare (Fargo). Until Dawn is now in theaters.
 
Matt watched The Accountant 2, Gavin O'Connor's sequel to 2016's The Accountant. When an old acquaintance is murdered, Wolff (Ben Affleck) is compelled to solve the case. Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal), to help. In partnership with Marybeth Medina, they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.

Thunderbolts*

Matt and Eric saw New Avengers *cough cough* Thunderbolts*.
 
Thunderbolts* is the latest entry in the MCU franchise, and was directed by Jake Schreier (Beef). After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap, seven disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Thunderbolts* stars Florence Pugh (Midsommar), Sebastian Stan (A Different Man), Julia Louis-Dreyfuss (Veep), and David Harbour (Stranger Things). Thunderbolts* is in theaters now.

Sinners

We watched Sinners and now we want Obama to run for a third term.
 
Sinners (2025) is the latest film from director Ryan Coogler (Creed, Black Panther). Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther), Hailee Steinfeld (Into the Spider-Verse), and Miles Caton. Sinners is currently in theaters.
